The JRCPTB (previously JCHMT) has prescribed a curriculum in Nuclear Cardiology for Nuclear Medicine trainees. This can be found in the training document.

The curriculum for Cardiology trainees in Nuclear Cardiology can also be found here (Cardiology curriculum).

Training curriculum for Radiology trainees if specialising in Radionuclide Radiology is the same as for Nuclear Medicine trainees.

To obtain an ARSAC certificate to perform Nuclear Cardiology procedures, it is necessary for Cardiology trainees to undergo the same level of training as a Nuclear Medicine trainee would (as recommended by JRCPTB) in myocardial perfusion scintigraphy and equilibrium radionuclide ventriculography.

It is recommended that you contact your local Nuclear Medicine SAC (Speciality Advisory Committee) representative - details can be found on the JRCPTB website.
