Welcome to the BNCS website!

We are an independent society dedicated to the promotion of Nuclear Cardiology in the United Kingdom. Aiming to improve understanding of the role and contribution of Nuclear Cardiology to patient management.

This new website was launched at the BNCS Annual General Meeting on Monday 29th November 2010.  Please have a look around and tell us what you think. We look forward to hearing your feedback.

ASNC/IAEA free webinars -  We are pleased to announce a series of free ASNC/IAEA webinars, covering topics including the basics of MPI, stress testing, tracers, coronary anatomy and radiation safety.

Resolution recovery software audit - The IPEM Nuclear Medicine Software Quality Group has now launched an audit project to look at the use of Resolution Recovery software for reducing administered activity in myocardial perfusion studies. This project will enable nuclear medicine departments to try out manufacturer’s resolution recovery software to see whether it can be used with their own department protocols to reduce administered activity for myocardial perfusion SPECT without compromising clinical results.
